Terms of Service

I. Disclaimers

  • I reserve the right to refuse/decline a commission for any reason

  • I reserve the right to discontinue a commission for disrespectful or abusive behavior

  • By requesting a commission, you are agreeing to abide by these terms

II. Rights and Usage

  • I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork.

  • I, the artist, retain the right to post original artwork on social media and use in portfolio/showcase

  • Unless negotiated and paid for, commissioned artwork is for NONCOMMERCIAL USE ONLY and may not be redistributed for use in merchandise or promotion of any goods, services, or social media

  • Commercial rights may be purchased at the time of commissioning for an additional 150% of the full commission price.

  • Commercial rights purchased after the commission is completed will cost an additional 200% of the full commission price.

  • Credit is still required for commercial use.

II-A. Clients May

  • Print artwork for personal use

  • Crop or resize image for use as an avatar, header, etc

  • Use artwork as reference for a study

  • Post artwork on social media with signature/watermark intact and credit link to any of my pages

  • Color lineart or sketches and post with clear credit, link to any of my pages, and signature/watermark intact

II-B. Clients May NOT

  • Claim credit for artwork

  • Remove or alter signature or watermark

  • Use commissioned piece in anything related to cryptocurrency, NFTs, or AI of any kind

  • Paint over or alter the work in ways not covered above

  • Use/reproduce artwork commercially without purchasing the rights

III. Payment

  • Payment is required in full upfront once the commission is negotiated and accepted

  • Payment is accepted via P@yP@l, Ko-fi, or Venmo

III-A. Refund Policy

  • If the commission is cancelled by either party before work has started, a full refund will be issued.

  • No refunds given for completed/nearly completed commissions under any circumstances.

  • I, the artist reserve the right to cancel a commission at any time, for any reason, without explanation.

  • If I, the artist, cancel the commission due to my own inability to complete it at any state, a full refund will be issued.

  • If the client cancels the commission during progress, amount refunded will be on a case-by-case basis and determined by the artist’s discretion. Rough guidelines:

  • Sketch Phase: 90% Refund

  • Lineart Phase: 50% Refund

  • Flat Color/Rendering: 0% Refund

IV. Revisions and Process

  • All preview/approval images will be sent in low resolution with watermark

  • Sketch will be sent for approval before line and color work begins

  • One complete revision allowed for sketch stage, multiple minor revisions

  • Limited minor revisions in line and color stages

  • Revisions made on my own prerogative or because of my own negligence/mistakes are free

  • Excessive revision requests that hinder progress will incur extra fees

  • Additional major revisions will incur a large fee

  • Fees and what constitute major and minor revisions are up to my, the artist's, discretion

V. What The Client Receives

  • Final artwork in 300 DPI PNG format

  • Low resolution watermarked WIPs throughout the process

  • Client may purchase the CSP file of their commission for a fee equal to 20% of the full commission cost
